Govt. Simplifies Provisions on Levies for Business Entities Providing and Distributing Fuel and Transporting Natural Gas through Pipelines

Regulation of the Government No. 48 of 2019 on Levy Amounts and the Utilization of Levies in Relation to Business Entities Engaged in Provision and Distribution Business Activities for Fuel and the Transportation of Natural Gas through Pipelines (“ Regulation 48/2019 ”) has been issued in a bid to improve accountability in relation to the management of levies which are applied by business entities engaged in the provision and distribution of fuel, as well as the transportation of natural gas through pipelines. [1] Previously, these matters were addressed under Regulation of Government No. 1 of 2006 , which bore the same title (“ Regulation 1/2006 ”).
