The Indonesian Government recognizes the importance of increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the utilization of resources for the purposes of investment management and the overall prosperity of the Indonesian population. One measure that is vital to achieving these objectives is the fair management of land use between different sectors and different scales of business actors. Against this backdrop, the government recently issued Regulation of the President No. 70 of 2023 on Land Allocation for Investment Management (“ Regulation 70/2023 ”). [1]
