After a deliberation and drafting process that has lasted three years, the government has now officially issued Regulation of the President No. 32 of 2024 on the Responsibility of Digital Platform Companies (“ Companies ”) to Support Quality Journalism (“ Regulation 32/2024 ”), which is set to come into force on 20 August 2024 . Regulation 32/2024 is expected to ensure economic fairness for the press in relation to the various publications that they circulate through digital platforms. [1]
