Regulatory Framework for Environmental Protection and Management Updated

As a follow up to the issuance of Law No. 11 of 2020 on Job Creation (“ Job Creation Law ”), the government recently issued over 49 implementing regulations in addition to a number of other previously issued regulations. [1] Among these newly-issued regulations is Regulation of the Government No. 22 of 2021 on the Implementation of Environmental Protection and Management (“ Regulation 22/2021 ”), which clarifies all environmental matters originally addressed under the Job Creation Law.
