Technical Standards Certification Required for All Telecommunications Devices and Equipment by May 2024

Provisions that specifically address the certification of telecommunications equipment and telecommunications devices (collectively referred to as “ Telecommunications Devices ”) have now been updated through the issuance of Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Information Technology (“ Minister ”) No. 3 of 2024 (“ Regulation 3/2024 ”). These matters were previously addressed under Regulation of the Minister No. 16 of 2018 on Operational Provisions on the Certification of Telecommunications Devices (“ Regulation 16/2018 ”), which will be simultaneously repealed and replaced when Regulation 3/2024 comes into force on 23 May 2024.
